Time     Friday, February 25     10:00pm - 1:30am

Location     Katerina's (eclectic club & restaurant )   1920 West Irving Park Rd, Chicago

Join us to celebrate Yoko's birthday at Katerina's.
Yoko will perform "Japanesque"-fusion of Chicago Blues and Japanese folk music--received a standing ovation at Poznan Art Festival in Poland last summer.
What does Japanese Minyo (folk music) have in common with Chicago Blues?
Both musical forms are deeply rooted in people's souls and grew from their everyday life experien...ce. Some songs are about hard labor, some are about crying for lost love, some are about paying the rent. You will be surprised to hear music from these two very different cultures meld together to create a new cross-border root music.

Yoko Noge(vocal/piano),Jimmy Burns(vocal/guitar), Tatsu Aoki (shamisen),
Amy Homma (taiko drums),Clark Dean (soprano sax),Bill McFarland (trombone), Greg EZ McDaniel(bass)
